After my summer language adventure in Spain, I was set on continuing to learn Spanish, but I didn’t have time to attend in-person classes due to my new job. So I decided to start online classes with my Colombian friend, who is a Spanish teacher. However, after a few months, she got pregnant and wasn’t able to continue teaching me for the time being. Last year, before leaving for a six-week language trip to Spain, I decided to immerse myself in Spanish. Since I’ve always enjoyed watching TV shows and movies, I thought I’d kill two birds with one stone and watch the legendary Money Heist (La Casa de Papel) in its original language. That’s when I remembered Lingopie—a platform that YouTube had been recommending to me for a while—and decided to give it a try.
